Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury, Alex Mellen

Fahrenheit 451

This book was about a man called Guy Montag who is walking home from his job as a fireman, one rainy night and meets this young 17-year-old girl named Clarisse. She tells Montag about the most unusual and weird things slowly opening his view on how he sees the world. It is in the future where firemen instead of putting out fires start them to get rid of books. The people in the future think that a book are full of useless knowledge and is a way to mess with people’s minds.

 Fahrenheit 451 Review

I think this book is a very good book but for more advanced readers. There is a lot of different vocabulary. You really have to focus while reading this book to actually grasp the concept and understand. It has a very deep meaning and can tell some people wouldn’t understand. This book really changes your view on different things in the world like technology and how people’s ignorance might just change the future. Overall I would recommend this book that wants a challenging read and is interested in how our future might change like war politics and technology.
